Others define integrity more narrowly, as adhering to a set of predetermined rules or standards, even when it is difficult to do so. No matter how it is defined, integrity is a critical character trait that everyone should aspire to possess.

Ted Engstrom, a prominent American author and speaker, has articulated the importance of integrity in many quotes.
